He has managed a national portfolio of affordable housing investments valued at over $100 million for a private investor group in Denver.
As principal of his own company, New Communities LLC, he has provided development services and provided financial consulting services to a variety of affordable housing and historic developers throughout the United States.
Tom also has worked in many different financial management positions for national and local homebuilding companies.
Tom has served on numerous boards. He is a past board member of the Colorado Affordable Housing Partnership and The Colorado Housing Campaign.
He is actively involved in the political process concerning historic preservation and affordable housing on both a state and national level. He has spoken at different conferences concerning the financial aspects of historic rehabilitation development.
